The famous Tower Bridge was opened in 1984. Now this design with two towers is one of the most recognizable symbols of London. The length of the bridge, which is both suspended and adjustable, is 244 meters.Due to the unusual design of the Tower Bridge, pedestrians can cross the Thames, even when the central span is in a diluted state. To do this, they need to climb the stairs inside the towers in a special gallery that connects the two parts of the bridge at a height of 44 meters.
