KhreshchatykKhreshchatyk, Kreschatik - the central street of Kiev. Passes through Starokievsky (present Shevchenkovsky) and Pechersky areas and extends from the European to the Bessarabian area.This is not an ordinary street. It happened historically that it became the center of not only Kiev, but also Ukraine. The central square - Maydan Nezalezhnosti serves as a resting place for Kyivans and visitors of the city.
